The 6th EVVF European Vovinam Championships – 2024

The 6th EVVF European Vovinam Championships jointly organised by the European Vovinam Viet Vo Dao Federation (EVVF) and the Italian Vovinam Federation took place succesfully from November 1-3, 2024 at the Sports Center Lissone (MB, Italy). This event has the participation of more than 250 officials, referees, coaches and athletes from 8 European countries: Belgium, France, Germany, England, Romania, Spain, Switzerland and host Italy.

Athletes compete in 46 sets of medals (30 technical categories and 16 fight categories). This is the first time the European Championships have categories for both senior and junior group (15-17 years old) in the same championship.

Final Ranking:

1. Vovinam France: 18 Gold Medal, 14 Silver Medal, 14 Bronze Medal.
2. Vovinam Italy: 13 Gold Medal, 18 Silver Medal, 10 Bronze Medal.
3. Vovinam Belgium: 5 Gold Medal, 5 Silver Medal, 10 Bronze Medal.
4. Vovinam Romania: 5 Gold Medal, 5 Silver Medal, 4 Bronze Medal.
5. Vovinam Germany: 5 Gold Medal, 4 Silver Medal, 6 Bronze Medal.
6. Vovinam Spain: 1 Silver Medal, 2 Bronze Medal.
7. Vovinam Switzerland: 2 Bronze Medal.

Best Fighter Junior Group: Senny El.

Best Fighter Senior Group: Greta Carnio.

Best Performance Junior Group: Eva Lauria.

Best Performance Senior Group: Maxime Chung.

The Opening Ceremony of the 6th EVVF European Vovinam Championships took place solemnly with the attention of local officials: Mr. Giovanni Camarda (Sport Councillor and Youth Policies), Mr. Gianfilippo Alibrandi (Councillor for Productive Activities and Commerce), Ms. Serena Arrigoni (Councillor of Human Resource Consulting) and representatives of the Executive Committee of the World Vovinam Federation (WVVF), European Vovinam Viet Vo Dao Federation (EVVF) and Italian Vovinam Federation: Master Jean-Michel Sudorruslan (EVVF Advisor), Mr. Florin Macovei (WVVF Standing Vice President, EVVF President), Mr. Vittorio Cera (Chairman of WVVF Sport Commission, EVVF Standing Vice President and Technical Director), Mrs. Thanh Nha Berrier (WVVF Vice General Secretary, EVVF General Secretary), Dr. Dinh Du Chan (WVVF Referee Director, EVVF Vice President and Head of Referee), Mr. Giuseppe Pollastro (WVVF and EVVF Competition Director) and Mr. Luca Marzocchi (EVVF Head of Marketing and Promotion Commission, President of Italian Vovinam Federation).

The 7th EVVF European Vovinam Championships 2026 will be held in Belgium.
