Dr. Mai Hữu Tín’s resignation speech
In his speech, Dr. Mai Hữu Tín stated:
“In 2017, I accepted the role of President of the Vietnam Vovinam Federation at the request of Master Nguyễn Văn Chiếu and Mr. Lê Quốc Ân, serving as a sponsor and liaison with domestic and international authorities. Now, I resign from this position to fully focus on my responsibilities as President of the World Vovinam Federation, with the aim of further promoting Vovinam globally, towards inclusion in the Olympics.
Electing Master Trần Văn Mỹ as President is appropriate, as the head of the martial arts school will now lead the Vietnam Vovinam Federation, thereby strengthening unity and effectively guiding the movement’s domestic activities.”
