Thanks to her exceptional skills in Vovinam, Ngoc Tuyen made waves on social media with her impressive strike that sent a motorbike thief running for his life, leaving his shoes behind!
Earlier this week, a video clip of a thief attempting to steal a motorbike from the sidewalk went viral. However, before he could start the engine, a courageous girl dashed out of a nearby house and delivered a striking kick that forced him to flee, causing quite a sensation.
People were both concerned about the brazenness of the thief and in awe of the bravery and talent displayed by the young martial artist. Not everyone possesses the daring to confront criminals in such a resolute manner.
The girl, in a dress, double-kicked the motorbike thief.
The identity of the Vovinam master who swiftly kicked the motorbike thief and then revealed herself has been uncovered. Her name is Ngoc Tuyen, a 20-year-old cashier at a restaurant in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
Ngoc Tuyen’s fearlessness can be attributed to her training in Vovinam since middle school, and she has even participated in competitive fights.
The incident took place on the evening of June 23 when two masked individuals on a motorbike stopped in front of a restaurant. While one acted as a lookout, the other attempted to steal a motorbike parked nearby.
Ngoc Tuyen has been training in Vovinam since middle school.
As the thief was about to start the engine, a girl dressed in a black dress swiftly emerged from the restaurant, launching herself with a striking move that sent the thief tumbling onto the road before he fled, leaving his sandals behind.
Sharing her experience after the incident, Ngoc Tuyen revealed that when she saw the thief, she executed a spinning kick known as “Technique number 8” (a special technique in Vovinam).
Fortunately for the thief, the girl’s outfit at the time wasn’t suitable for a fight, so he managed to escape without receiving the full impact of her strike.
Ngoc Tuyen explained that when she saw the thief trying to take her motorcycle, her instinct was to protect her property as it was a gift from her parents before she moved to Ho Chi Minh City.
She even expressed confidence that if she had been wearing more comfortable attire, she could have caught the thief. “After this incident, I am determined to lose weight and train in martial arts more consistently,” the young woman shared.
