Dong Nai ranked 5th in the overall rankings at the 2025 National Strong Teams Vovinam Championship with a record of 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 5 bronze medals.

On April 23, the 16th National Strong Teams Vovinam Championship in 2025 concluded in Nghe An after nearly a week of competition.

On the final competition day, Dong Nai’s Vovinam fighters secured an additional bronze medal in the basic technical team event. As a result, Dong Nai Vovinam achieved 3 gold medals , 2 silver medals , 5 bronze medals, and ranked 5th out of 30 teams.

With this achievement, Dong Nai Vovinam ranked 5th out of 30 participating teams. Meanwhile, the Ho Chi Minh City team achieved a total of 14 golds, 1 silver , and 4 bronzes to lead the event. Can Tho ranked 2nd and Thanh Hoa ranked 3rd.

This year’s championship gathered nearly 440 athletes and coaches (nearly 400 athletes) from 30 teams across the country. The athletes competed for 48 sets of medals, including 22 sets in the performance category and 26 sets in the sparring category (14 men’s weight classes, 12 women’s weight classes).
